Online Learning Proposals

Share your HRD expertise through a webinar, workshop, or cohort

AHRD is calling for learning experience proposals for our new Learning Management System (LMS). We welcome ideas from scholars, students, scholar-practitioners, and practitioners that make HRD knowledge useful in research, teaching, and workplace practice.

We are especially interested in topics across HRD's key domains, organized below using a practical content taxonomy:

  • Training & Development
  • Organization Development
  • Career Development
  • Critical Human Resource Development
  • Cross-Cultural Human Development
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in HRD
  • Evaluation in Human Resource Development
  • Strategic HRD

We also welcome proposals that connect these domains through HRD research-to-practice translation, evaluation and impact, data and technology, or HRD strategy. For example, a session might show how to diagnose a performance challenge, apply relevant research to an intervention, and determine whether it worked.

You can propose a 30- or 60-minute webinar, a 90-minute interactive workshop, a series of recorded content that learners can take at their own pace. A cohort for deeper discussion and applied work. A cohort proposal may begin with an idea; a complete syllabus is not required at this stage. We can support you in refining your idea and format.

Please submit your idea through the AHRD Learning proposal form. The form asks for your topic, primary HRD domain and category, intended audience, learning objectives, brief session description, preferred format, and short bio. AHRD will review proposals for audience relevance, clarity of outcomes, fit with the learning program, and feasibility. Submission is an expression of interest, not a commitment by AHRD to schedule a session; staff will contact you about next steps.
